TRAINING
Freeman Farms is not a public training facility. Our focus is the development of young horses that are physically and mentally prepared to enjoy their life and work with humans- regardless of the chosen discipline (Driving, English, Western, Trail, Dressage etc.). Since many of our youngsters will find their way into the show ring, we work hard to assure they have the basic communication skills, confidence and willingness to perform successfully. We believe that development of a show horse begins with thoughtful breeding selections. If you want a horse with high action and high attitude, breed for it ... don't try to mechanically force it on a horse without the proper conformation and attitude- neither the horse nor the owner will be happy with the outcome. We try to steer our youngsters in the direction that will best suit their natural individual strengths. Prospects from Freeman Farms possess the basic skills for an amateur owner trainer to take them to the next level. Click HERE to go to Training Page 2.
